Houthi-affiliated media reported that the city of Hodeidah is experiencing a series of airstrikes, following a Houthi drone attack on the city of Tel Aviv in Israel. It was reported that more than 25 warplanes participated in the attack on specific military sites in Yemen. Eyewitnesses in the Israeli city of Eilat observed Israeli fighters taking off from Negev Air Base towards the Red Sea about two hours ago.

The Israeli Army Radio stated that the bombing in Yemen was conducted using 12 F-35 aircraft. Neutral sources confirmed that F-15 aircraft also participated in the attack. An Israeli aggression on Hodeidah Governorate and a fire at Yemen's main port were reported. Yemen's stance with Gaza remains firm and will not change; supportive operations from Yemen for Gaza will not cease, and the response to this aggression is inevitable, as the Yemeni people are stronger than all evil forces.

Axios reporter Barak Ravid quoted a senior U.S. official confirming that Israel carried out the attack in Yemen. A White House official mentioned that Biden received a briefing from the Deputy National Security Advisor regarding the Israeli strike on the Houthis. Israeli media connected the airstrikes in Hodeidah to the Houthi drone attack on the city of Tel Aviv. A Houthi spokesperson announced casualties due to the Israeli airstrikes on oil storage facilities at Hodeidah port.
