Warner Bros Launches News Service CNN Max in America

Warner Bros Discovery announced today, Thursday, that it will add a new service to its streaming platform Max called CNN Max, which will provide around-the-clock news starting September 27th in the United States. The company stated in a statement that CNN Max would benefit from the global coverage resources of the news network and will also feature new original programming, such as "CNN Newsroom" with Jim Acosta, Rahel Solomon, Amara Walker, and Fredrika Whitfield. The service will function as a channel within the Max streaming platform. It will aim to capitalize on breaking news and analyses, distinguishing it from the CNN Plus streaming service, which was short-lived after its launch in March 2022 and focused on lifestyle programming.
