The Patriarch Appeals for the Opening of the Military Academy

The Maronite Patriarch Beshara Al-Rahi stated that "the President of the Republic is the only one authorized to demand the implementation of international resolutions." In his Sunday Mass sermon, he pointed out that "there is another vacancy in the military academy as there will not be students for the second year in this academy, and who will protect the rights of the accepted candidates?" Al-Rahi said, "We have always called on the youth to join the state, but how can we invite them to join if it is closing its doors to them?" He urged to "open the military academy so that there will not be a vacancy greater than the presidency of the republic."
