Title: Sheikh of the Druze Community: There is No Way to Salvation Except Through Our National Unity

Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna, the Sheikh of the Druze community, condemned "the two heinous bombings that targeted civilians in the Kerman area of the Islamic Republic of Iran," emphasizing his "rejection of harming civilians regardless of the justifications and excuses." During a meeting with employees, workers, and heads of the departments in the religious council and the Sheikhdom of Druze in the community's house in Beirut, on the occasion of the new year, the Sheikh addressed the existing challenges facing the Lebanese people that require a response with wisdom, deliberation, patience, and conviction, along with strengthening faith and the will to rise regardless of the difficult circumstances.

He stated: "Lebanon has gone through several stages in which we have accustomed ourselves to bear responsibilities in confronting wars through determination and resilience, without despair and without surrendering, fostering hope and pushing reality toward improvement." He stressed the "importance of activating the work of the religious council institution in line with our aspirations, and the people's right to expect actions. This is a responsibility for all of us, and we must work in a spirit of solidarity and collaboration."

He added: "Our house, thank God, is inclusive and national, and it will remain so peacefully to enhance moral and national spirit. It will also remain a contributor to strengthening human, ethical, and social values, to achieve our common goals, namely citizenship and the prosperity of the nation, as there is no way to salvation except through the unity of the homeland and its people meeting on all that enhances their faith in Lebanon's unique characteristics."

He also emphasized "the importance of enhancing communication between resident Lebanon and expatriate Lebanon on cultural, spiritual, and material levels, to create a melting pot of work and solidarity, to contribute to lifting our country and its institutions from their difficulties and looking towards the future." He spoke about "several meetings he is conducting to benefit from religious endowments, manage their files, and direct investments that will benefit our community."
