Egyptian Team Secures Arab Youth Basketball Title

As expected, the Egyptian team successfully secured the title of the Arab Youth Basketball Championship under 18, without waiting for the final round scheduled for this evening, Saturday. They won yesterday, Friday, against their Lebanese counterpart with a score of 59 to 73 at the Cairo Stadium Hall. Despite the champion team trailing in the first half by three points with a score of 30 to 33 in favor of Lebanon, they compensated for this deficit in the third quarter, leading 10 to 23, and in the final quarter, 17 to 20. Consequently, they achieved a perfect score of 6 points and have a new opportunity to increase this tally when they face the Jordanian team this evening in the tournament's conclusion, having set a record by winning their thirteenth title.
