"Sky News Arabia" reported that intermediaries in contact with Hamas revealed that the movement has agreed to a "formula" that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will carry to the Israeli war cabinet. According to the formula that Hamas accepted, Blinken is expected to present a proposal to the Israeli side today for a temporary 12-hour ceasefire that could be renewed, in exchange for the release of most foreign detainees. He is also expected to propose the introduction of 50,000 liters of fuel into the besieged Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian sources cited by "Sky News Arabia."
The sources indicated that the U.S. Secretary of State will request permission for the movement of vehicles for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) as well as for Red Cross vehicles. Palestinian sources revealed that "Blinken will request an increase in the number of aid trucks entering Gaza to 200 per day."
