Intense Bombardment Continues in the South... and a Body Retrieved from a House in Hiyam

Operations in the south are ongoing intermittently. The outskirts of the town of Aytaroun were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling. Al Jazeera reported that "Israeli artillery shelled the Wadi Hamoul area in the western sector of southern Lebanon." The Israeli army launched several direct shells around the town of Al-Bustan near the Risha Pond, followed by heavy machine-gun fire. A correspondent from the National News Agency reported heavy artillery fire in the vicinity of the towns of Ramiyah and Aita al-Shaab and around Dhahira.

Israeli aircraft targeted a hill from the hills of the town of Majdel Zoun and the area between Alama al-Shaab and Naqoura, as well as Yater. Correspondent from Al-Manar reported: "The enemy's artillery shelled the outskirts of Aytaroun in the central sector of southern Lebanon." The bombardment also targeted the Hamoul-Naqoura area and dropped phosphorus bombs on the Labouna area in Naqoura. A second body was retrieved from the Hiyam house that was targeted by the Israeli army two days ago.

Hezbollah announced that it targeted a logistics support team last Tuesday evening while they were conducting maintenance work at the Bayad Blida site, inflicting direct hits. The Israeli army shelled the outskirts of most towns in the western sector, reaching the outskirts of the towns of Al-Mansouri, Majdel Zoun, and Sha'itiyah. Attacks resumed and continued violently until 2 AM today and throughout the night, with warplanes launching strikes on Khallet Hassan between the towns of Majdel Zoun and Tair Harfa, preceded by intense bombardment on Jabal Labouna around the town of Naqoura, targeting an old vehicle that had been out of service for a long time in Wadi Hassan.

The villages in the western and central sectors experienced the continued presence of reconnaissance aircraft and the launching of illuminating bombs in the sky over the area throughout the night and into the morning. As for the displacement movement, it is increasing daily according to the statistics from the Disaster Unit of the Union of Municipalities of Tyre District, and this increase in population displacement poses a challenge for the Disaster Unit to secure the necessary needs given the weak resources.
