Spanish international Dani Olmo, star of Leipzig, insists on returning to his former team Barcelona during the current summer transfer window. Barcelona is seeking to sign Olmo this summer to strengthen their attacking line, despite interest from several other clubs, notably Bayern Munich.
According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his official account on the social media platform "X," Olmo prioritizes Barcelona and is willing to accept the club's terms for the summer transfer. He added that "he is determined to move to Barcelona, with positive discussions continuing at the end of last week and this week as well."
Romano concluded that "Barcelona and Leipzig are in contact to discuss the financial value of the deal, and an agreement is expected to be reached soon." A Spanish sports report indicated that Barcelona has made a new offer to persuade Leipzig, approaching 50 million euros, while add-ons might raise the total amount to over 60 million euros, which Leipzig expects by about 5 million, potentially bringing the final price to 65 million euros if all related conditions are met.
