Closure of 6 Shops Managed by Syrians in Tyre and Sidon

A patrol from the Zahle Regional Center, in coordination with the National Security Directorate - South Branch, visited shops and businesses run by Syrians. As a result, a car repair shop managed by a Syrian was shut down illegally and sealed with red wax in Sarafand, based on the directive of the Public Prosecutor in the South, Judge Hani Barsha.

In this context, the South Information Branch of the General Security - National Security, along with the investigation and inquiry units in the General Security centers of Tyre and Qana, carried out a campaign in various towns of Tyre to suppress violations and monitor Syrian labor, based on the directives of the acting General Director of General Security, Major General Elias Beissari.

This campaign resulted in the closure of 4 shops sealed with red wax run by Syrian workers, after obtaining approval from the competent judiciary. These include: a manakish bakery in the town of Tora, a saj bakery in the town of al-Abbasiya, vegetable shops in the city of Tyre, and shops for selling and repairing car tires in the town of Sidqeen.

Today, a force from the "Sidon Regional Center" in General Security, in coordination with the "South Branch of the National Security Directorate," conducted a raid on a chicken-selling shop in the Ghazieh neighborhood, run by Syrians illegally. The shop was closed and sealed with red wax based on the directive of the competent judiciary. Additionally, the documents of other Syrians were confiscated for violating residence and work conditions, as part of the ongoing campaign by the General Directorate of General Security to pursue and suppress violations of residence and work by displaced Syrians in various regions.
