The First Moroccan Survivor Tells Horrific Tales from His Abduction in Myanmar

The Moroccan witness described the police in Thailand as a corrupt security apparatus that can easily be bribed. He accused them of being involved in covering up international human trafficking gangs based in Myanmar, which use the airport in the Thai capital as a point for luring victims to detention camps, passing through the border town of Mae Sot between Myanmar and Thailand. According to the Moroccan witness, the kidnappers in Myanmar have laboratories to develop their own software for use in the cryptocurrency world on the Dark Net.

The Moroccan witness denied that Thailand is a safe country, based on his personal experience, describing this Asian kingdom as allowing human trafficking, murder, and sexual exploitation of victims. He recounted attending a bribery operation involving police officers at the airport in Thailand’s capital for human smuggling, which, in his words, indicates that Thailand is not a safe country for Moroccans.

The Moroccan witness raised a broad question regarding Thailand’s involvement in granting visas to all applicants at its embassy in Malaysia, considering this point a necessary transit stop for victims of international human trafficking networks. Among the evidence of Thailand's involvement in international human trafficking, the Moroccan witness questioned why Thai authorities do not act to arrest their nationals, the drivers transporting people from the airport in the Thai capital to the border town of Mae Sot between Thailand and Myanmar. He also asked why the Thai authorities have not taken any action regarding the hundreds of reported disappearances.

The Moroccan witness linked Thailand's facilitation of international human trafficking networks with their presence at the border, citing evidence of the kidnappers in Myanmar exploiting the internet and mobile networks from Thailand, as well as using Thailand as a market for purchasing all their living needs, including computers and tools for digital hacking and illegal international trade in cryptocurrencies.

He called on Moroccan authorities to take legal action against anyone promoting the idea that Thailand is a safe country, accusing them of misleading Moroccans and organized deceit. The Moroccan witness asserted that Thailand does not enforce any laws or attempts, or impose any penalties against those who have been systematically perpetrating fraud in the world of cryptocurrencies for years.
