Osama Hamdan, a leader in the "Hamas" movement, confirmed that Israel has committed approximately 1,700 massacres against civilians in Gaza over the course of 71 days. He stated that Israel will not achieve any of its goals in this war and that the Israeli army does not care about its captives. In a press conference held this Saturday evening in Beirut, Lebanon, to discuss developments in the war on the Gaza Strip, he said: "On this seventy-first day, the Nazi occupation continues its aggressive war against our people in Gaza, using all kinds of weapons, ammunition, and internationally prohibited bombs, as well as random bombings of schools housing hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, shelters, tents, and homes, and hospitals protected under international humanitarian law."
He added: "All this is happening with the knowledge and sight of the world, supported by the United States, Britain, and some European countries, amidst the failure of the international community and all UN institutions to stop this aggression due to the stubbornness and arrogance of the American administration in using its veto, aligning with and supporting the new Nazis in committing further massacres and crimes unmatched in contemporary history."
Hamdan continued: "As a result of this Nazi war, more than 19,000 martyrs have risen from our people in Gaza, and around 52,000 have been injured, with nearly 8,000 missing, 70% of whom are children and women. The occupation has committed around 1,700 massacres against innocent civilians in 71 days. In the occupied West Bank, more than 289 martyrs have risen since October 7."
He stated: "The trio of war (Netanyahu-Gantz-Galant) has not achieved any of its aggressive goals during this ongoing Nazi war against Gaza for 71 days, and their objectives, God willing, will not be realized, and their dreams and illusions will shatter on the ground of Gaza's dignity."
Hamdan emphasized: "This fascist government, led by the 'Hitler of our time,' Netanyahu, does not care about the lives of its soldiers and officers, and it is sending them into the maelstrom of this battle knowing they entered Gaza alive, but will only come out as mutilated bodies... The Nazi army declared war on Gaza to free its captives, yet when three living captives sought help, they were executed!"
He added: "The narrative, as reported by their media, demonstrates that the occupation army is transitioning from failure to failure in Gaza, both strategically and tactically, and their Nazi combat doctrine is drowning them deeper into a quagmire of failure."
The Hamas leader stressed that "if this Nazi enemy wants to recover its soldiers captured by the resistance alive, this will only happen after a complete cessation of aggression and then through a negotiated deal based on the conditions of the resistance."
He affirmed that "the legendary steadfastness of our people and our resistance, along with the successive victories achieved on the ground by the fighters, have forced many countries around the world to change their positions, pushing politicians away from adopting the stained Zionist narrative filled with massacres and the blood of children and women, to secure their own safety, that of their parties, and their political future."
