The Saudi Cabinet called on King Salman bin Abdulaziz and active parties to take responsibility in stopping tensions. The council emphasized "the necessity of taking practical steps to resolve the Palestinian issue." Minister of Media Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari stated that the council is closely monitoring developments on both regional and international fronts, as well as the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom to end the war in Gaza and support peace efforts in Yemen, to achieve regional security and stability. In this context, he urged the international community and influential parties to fulfill their responsibilities and roles in stopping tensions in the region.
The Cabinet reiterated its welcome for the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice regarding the illegality of the Israeli presence in Palestinian territories for the past 57 years, asserting the Kingdom's call for credible and practical steps towards a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions.
Additionally, the council addressed local matters, updating on the national economy and its key indicators, including the stability of inflation rates at low levels, remaining below the global targets in recent months, amid the robustness of the Kingdom's economy and the effectiveness of measures taken to mitigate the impacts of rising global prices.
