Israeli forces continue their bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip for the 226th consecutive day, from Beit Lahia in the north to Rafah in the south, resulting in dozens of casualties. The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, coinciding with artillery shelling in Sheikh Zayed area and Qalibo hill, and Beit Lahia town.

Three Palestinians were killed and seven others injured in an airstrike by a warplane on a house belonging to the Shahin family in the Al-Tufah neighborhood east of Gaza City, and they were transported to the Baptist Hospital in the city. Additionally, three Palestinians were killed and others injured in a shelling of a school sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City, and they were also taken to the Baptist Hospital.

Twenty Palestinians were killed and others injured due to Israeli army shelling targeting the home of the Hassan family in the New Camp north of Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, with casualties sent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Local sources reported the death of a Palestinian and injuries to others when Israeli planes targeted a group of Palestinians in Deir al-Balah.

Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Awad family near Al-Safa Mosque in Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza. Local sources indicated that military helicopters fired in the east of Rafah city in southern Gaza, coinciding with an airstrike in the center of Rafah and shelling from Israeli navy boats towards the shores of Rafah. The Israeli army also shelled several areas in the east and the center of Rafah city.

In contrast, Israeli media reported today that the Israeli army announced the death of two of its personnel in battles in southern Gaza yesterday. The "Times of Israel" confirmed that the two deceased were non-commissioned officers and that two soldiers and an officer were also seriously injured as a result of a mine explosion at the entrance of a tunnel in Rafah.

On Saturday, fierce battles erupted alongside intense Israeli bombardment in Jabalia camp in northern Gaza and Rafah city in the far south, from which 800,000 Palestinians have been displaced, according to the United Nations. The Israeli army stated on Saturday that its air force "struck over 70 targets" throughout the Strip in the past 24 hours. It also announced “the elimination of about fifty” Palestinian militants and “the discovery of dozens of tunnel entrances” in the eastern part of the city.

The "Al-Quds Brigades," the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, confirmed violent fighting in the east of the city with Israeli forces that entered this area on May 7. Meanwhile, the "Ezzedin Al-Qassam Brigades," the military wing of Hamas, reported targeting a number of Israeli vehicles in Rafah with anti-tank missiles and shelling Israeli forces at the Rafah crossing with mortar shells.

On Saturday evening, the Israeli army issued a new evacuation order for neighborhoods in northern Gaza, stating they had witnessed rocket fire towards Israel. The army's evacuation order stated: "To those present in the neighborhoods of Al-Karama, Amer Project, Al-Attatirah, and Al-Salatin: you must evacuate immediately to shelters in the west of Gaza City."

Relief organizations confirm that the Israeli incursion into Rafah, which began despite widespread international opposition while mediators hoped for a breakthrough in the stalled ceasefire talks, has exacerbated the severe humanitarian crisis. The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Commissioner-General confirmed that 800,000 people have been "forced to flee" from Rafah in the far south of the Gaza Strip since the start of Israeli military operations in the city this month. He stated that people are fleeing to areas lacking water and sanitation supplies.
