A series of cold and humid weather fronts continue to affect Lebanon for several days. The coming days are expected to experience winter weather that is cold and occasionally heavy with rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, as well as the risk of flash floods and a drop in temperature. Snow will fall at elevations of 1600 meters.
Before the weather front arrives in Lebanon, Ali Haballah, General Director of Roads and Buildings at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, along with relevant officials, conducted a field tour of various work sites in the Ministry, where contractors are actively engaged in clearing and cleaning rainwater drainage channels on highways and main roads under the ministry's jurisdiction, especially at the identified critical points. There is hope that a scenario similar to the "last rain" event, which caused cars to be stranded on major roads, will not be repeated, especially since the current storm is predicted to be more intense. Are we preparing to once again wade through our cars on the highways and roads?

**Fallen Rock Incident:**
On another note, the rain caused a large rock to fall this morning in the town of Izaal in the Zgharta district, landing on a parked car, completely destroying it, but fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the matter was limited to material damage.
