The second edition of the Billion Followers Summit 2024 began on Wednesday morning, with the participation of 3,000 content creators and 195 speakers from over 95 countries around the world. The summit, held under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, will last for two days and its events are hosted at the Museum of the Future and the Emirates Towers in Dubai.
This summit is the largest global gathering for digital content creators on social media, with 7,000 attendees, including 3,000 content creators and influencers from around the world, and 100 CEOs who have over 1.6 billion followers. The summit features about 100 events and 24 panel discussions with 195 speakers from 95 countries, including major social media pioneers from around the globe, as well as 15 inspiring keynotes and the participation of 200 digital content production companies showcasing the latest production technologies in the world.
On the first day, the summit will host 12 diverse panel discussions. Content creators Amr Nasouhi, Abdullah Al Nuaimi, and Mosaed Al Fawzan, known as M12 Fouzan, will discuss the pros and cons of sports content creation and the importance of balancing passion, objectivity, and neutrality in a session titled “Make Sports Content Creation Your Game and Achieve Your Goals.” Meanwhile, travel influencers Qassem Al-Hatou, known as "Ibn Hattuta," Walid Misrati, Kareem Al-Sayed, and Khabeeb Kawas will reveal the secrets of their fame and personal experiences in a session called “Travel the World and Make Profits.”
The "Museum of the Future" will host the panel "Businessmen Among Content Creators" within the "Let's Win" track, featuring Riyad Al-Zamil, Eli Habib, and Amr Mansy, moderated by Mohamed Fattal. The session “You Deserve a Break” will include Haifa Bseiso, Raghda Talin, and Saif Al-Dhahab, moderated by Omar Al-Helo.
In the “Smart Manager” session, Mohamad Fattal, Ahmed Mahmoud, and Hussein Al-Attouli will share insights on how to manage content professionally. The "Let's Progress" track at the "Museum of the Future" will include a discussion titled "Be the Ambassador of Your Brand" featuring Radwan Sajan and Mohannad Al-Wadia, moderated by Mohamed Zidan, which will disclose the secrets of leveraging personal influence for business success.
The session “Foundations for Creating Captivating Content Every Time” will involve Adil Taweel, Amin Aouni, and Rawan Al-Jalad, moderated by Sofyan Al-Hussein, to discuss the art of creating visual masterpieces. The session “Turn Your Passion into a Source of Income” will feature Farah Al-Kurdi, Mohamad Biraghdaari known as "Mo Vlogs," and Raghda Fahmy, moderated by Razan Al-Amoush.
The session “Content Creator’s Guide to a Healthy Mind” will see participation from Fares Ghandour, Kareem Ismail, and Rajih Al-Harithi, moderated by Abdullah Al-Rais. The session “From Phone Screens to Cinema Screens” will have Fares Quds, Sohaib Quds, and Najm discussing how to use innovative skills and visions to explore new avenues beyond social media and reach television screens.
Among the participating content creators this year is Syrian creator Ghaith Marwan, who has gained fame since 2015 with 15 million followers. Ahmad Abu Al-Rab, known for his creativity, has over 4.3 million followers on Instagram and more than 7 million on YouTube. Syrian creator Osama Marwa, who started his content journey in 2019, participated, with many of his videos exceeding 15 million views.
Syrian Seif Shawaf, known for his engaging series, has nearly 7.8 million followers on TikTok and 4 million on YouTube.
Abdullah Al-Tahan, a comedic content creator, has about 6.2 million followers on TikTok and approximately 2.85 million on YouTube. Palestinian creator Wisam Qatb has about 4.8 million followers on Instagram and 2.5 million on YouTube, focusing on music and comedic sketches.
Kuwaiti Bashayer Jumaa, known as BJ Life, shares lifestyle content in Kuwait with nearly 16 million followers.
Jordanian Raghda Fahmy, a dentistry student and fashion influencer, has 6 million followers on Instagram and 3.52 million on YouTube.
Egyptian engineer and content creator Abdullah Anan, who shares philosophical content, has about 5.4 million followers on the Science Street program and half a million on Instagram.
Content creator Malik Maktabi supports youth with about 5.14 million subscribers on YouTube, 7 million on Facebook, and about 1.2 million on Instagram.
Chef Shahin, a professional Iraqi chef, has around 3.4 million followers on YouTube and 4 million each on Instagram and Facebook.
Finally, Sean Garnier, a sports content creator, has approximately 13 million followers across all social media, merging sports and music in his content.
