On Wednesday, the caretaker Minister of Finance, Youssef Khalil, issued three decisions regarding deadline extensions as follows:
1. The first decision extends, until August 30, 2024, the deadline for submitting the periodic declaration for value-added tax for the second quarter of 2024, the payment of the resulting value-added tax, and the submission of refund requests made during the declaration period for this quarter.
2. The second decision extends, until September 16, 2024, the deadline for submitting the first quarter salary and wage tax declarations for 2024, as well as the payment of the corresponding tax.
3. The third decision extends, until September 30, 2024, the deadline for submitting the second quarter salary and wage tax declarations for 2024, along with the payment of the corresponding tax.
These decisions aim to provide taxpayers with the opportunity to comply with these obligations in order to avoid penalties.
