The cat "Bao Zi" has entered history by showcasing her skating skills, breaking the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10 meters on a skateboard by a cat, achieving it in just 12.85 seconds. Bao Zi is only one year and eight months old, but she is already a "star cat," as described by the Guinness website, and she is owned by Chinese young man Li Jiang Tao.
Li is an experienced pet trainer who initially focused on training dogs. Despite his extensive experience, he did not discover Bao Zi's talent right away. He said, "I trained dogs for over a decade and started skateboarding with my dog for fun. But Bao Zi showed great interest in skateboards, so I decided to nurture her."
He added, "We had mice, and Bao Zi's role was to scare and chase them away. At first, she was like any other cat, always looking for food, naps, and cuddles." He continued, "When the cat was six months old, she went on a bold adventure and escaped. I searched for her in the neighborhood for a week, thinking she might be gone forever, but she returned and I realized she loves exploring the outdoors."
This adventure with the cat pushed Li to delve deeper into cat behavior training. So far, he has trained 13 cats to use the toilet, with complete cleanup! Bao Zi can also sit, shake paws, pretend to be dead, roll over, jump, climb, navigate hoops, ring doorbells, push rolling barrels, and even dribble a basketball.
For the Chinese trainer, "Bao Zi's presence is exceptional. We receive love messages and blessings from fans around the world every day. I would like to thank everyone who supports and loves Bao Zi. Bringing happiness to so many people makes this journey truly meaningful."
