The "Loyalty to Resistance" bloc stated in a statement following its regular meeting at its central headquarters, chaired by MP Mohammad Raad, that "sadness is a pathway for the soul, allowing a person to reach out to God Almighty, who holds the command and to whom we return. Through His grace, pathways to relief and elevation, the alleviation of worries and sorrows, and the realization of hopes become evident. It seems that when sorrows accumulate, they transform into educational opportunities that assist people in preparing to confront upcoming challenges."
It added: "Today, as we stand on the threshold of the annual anniversary of the departure of the Imam of the Ummah and the beacon of its Islamic and contemporary jihadist revival, the founder of the blessed Islamic Republic in Iran, and the renewer of religious understanding in addressing the conditions of society, revolution, and state, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Musawi Khomeini, may his soul rest in peace, our sorrow on this occasion renews our determination and commitment to adhere to his path, which has continuously driven events and initiated transformations, piercing through the darkness of tyranny and despotism to bring forth the dawn of resurgence and renewal for the benefit of the oppressed and all of humanity."
It further stated: "In the past few days, we were deeply saddened by the tragedy of the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the esteemed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Eminence Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the representative of His Eminence Imam Khamenei in the province of Azerbaijan, Mr. Muhammad Al-Hashim, the Governor of Azerbaijan, Mr. Malik Rahmati, and five others who were with them. Amid feelings of grief and loss for these dear individuals, we also mourned the passing of a prominent figure in Islamic thought and movement, His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Ali al-Kourani al-Ameli, may God have mercy on him."
The statement continued: "On the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day on May 25, the esteemed and compassionate mother of His Eminence, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, passed away. All these sorrows have converged, but the resistance and its honest men remain steadfast in their covenant with God and with the people, confronting the Zionist enemy at the borders of the country and continuing their pressure in the field until the Zionists cease their aggression and their brutal war against Gaza and Palestine, and indeed against the entire region. This valiant resistance continues to honor its martyrs, who courageously fulfill their duty in defending their people and homeland, as well as in solidarity and support of the oppressed, those attacked, and those whose lands and homes are occupied in Gaza and Palestine."
It stated: "In the face of the genocidal crimes perpetrated by the Zionist invaders in Rafah - Gaza and the described brutality they inflict on civilians through killing, burning, extermination, and the violation of every aspect of life, our determination to pursue the path of confrontation and resistance is renewed. We convert all our sorrows into courageous will, sharpened by beautiful patience and nourished by a clear vision and overwhelming confidence in God's just and powerful victory."
Recalling "this entire scene, we affirm to our people that the dawn is surely coming, and its time of emergence can only be after the darkest moments of night. As long as we advance in our resistance in the service of God and His creation, God is our supporter, and He does not break His promise."
The bloc extended "its highest expressions of condolences to the Islamic Ummah and its striving peoples, especially in the countries of the Resistance Axis, on the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's (may he rest in peace) departure," addressing "the leader of the Ummah and the guide of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its people, all officials, the families of the martyr leaders and activists, and the family of Ayatollah Sheikh Ali al-Kourani, along with all families of martyrs of the Islamic resistance and the martyrs of the resistance in Gaza and Palestine, with sincere condolences for the martyrdom and loss of their loved ones," reaffirming its commitment "to continue their path in all its political, parliamentary, and popular trajectories."
It considered that "the failure of international community institutions to curb and stop the Zionist aggression and the campaign of extermination being carried out by the usurping entity against Gaza and its people is a dangerous indication and a negative message to free and oppressed nations and peoples, inviting them to seek refuge in self-power to defend their existence, homeland, and dignity. The US administration, insisting on its shamelessness, cunning, support, and embracing of the Zionist entity, bears the primary responsibility for the risks arising from this message."
It assessed that "the insistence of the invading Zionists to dismiss global public opinion against the aggression on Palestine would threaten stability, in addition to undermining all false Zionist claims regarding respect for democracy and human rights."
The bloc affirmed that "the movement towards creating suitable environments for completing the presidential requirement in Lebanon is always welcomed as long as it does not infringe upon the applied texts, customs, and constitutional mechanisms."
