Raed: We Want Dialogue to Repair All Fractures

The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raed, asserted that "what the resistance and Hezbollah have done in defense of this nation, to ensure stability on its internal and external fronts, to show solidarity with the oppressed and those whose land is occupied in Gaza, and to expose the racist, aggressive, terrorist brutality of the Zionist enemy, will not go in vain."

He added: "Although this enemy has succeeded in extermination, destruction, and in killing innocent civilians, including women and children, it has not succeeded in breaking the will of those who want to remain steadfast in their land, nor have they achieved the goals they had set to uproot people from their land, to crush the resistance in Gaza, or to secure, by force, the release of prisoners from the hands of the resistors who capture them to exchange them for unlawfully detained prisoners in the enemy's cells and prisons."

He continued: "For weeks, the enemy has appeared to be trapped in a cycle of failure, lingering at a point of defeat, and has been turning in circles around itself; every action it takes, in a show of bravado and an attempt to claim victory or demonstrate an achievement, only digs deeper into the failure it has been stuck in for weeks."

He indicated: "We are determined to force the enemy to stop its aggressive war and are ready for anything that leads to this goal. At the same time, we are keen to fulfill our national duty without expecting thanks or favors from anyone, as we preserve the country, safeguard its security, protect its internal front, and provide suitable conditions for the continuation of its constitutional, political, economic, and social life, if the officials perform their duties without using this matter as an excuse."

He added: "We want national unity and internal cohesion, and we seek continuous dialogue to mend any fractures that may face this society. We are open to all components, proud of our identity, and express this identity with boldness and clarity without disguise or concealment of any matter, as we have nothing to hide. We are also keen on living as one in this homeland and recognize that this country is capable of embracing all its citizens and their components, and it is not anyone's right to usurp another's conviction, as this is a right for Lebanon and the Lebanese."

He concluded: "All those who address public affairs must be frank and bold in their convictions so that we can clarify matters together and uplift our nation within a vision that considers the challenges, regional and international realities, and the unique circumstances that Lebanon faces."
