Mass Protest Demanding an End to

A massive protest took place in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, under the slogan "Stop the Rafah Massacres, Stop the Genocide, No to Criminalizing Anti-Normalization." The demonstration featured slogans supporting Palestinian resistance and condemning normalization efforts.

In a statement to the newspaper "Hespress," prominent Moroccan human rights activist Abdelhamid Amine said, "We renew our protests every Tuesday at 7 PM in front of the parliament, as a secretariat for the Moroccan front in support of Palestine and against normalization, to convey messages, the first of which is the condemnation of the Zionist entity and its atrocities, as well as the collective extermination we are witnessing in Gaza, in full view of everyone. We are here to condemn American imperialism, which is the main pillar of the Zionist entity, without which this entity would not survive for even a week."

He added, "Imperialism is maneuvering today; U.S. President Biden is trying to maneuver because he has been exposed and because elections are approaching, and even the American people themselves have begun to denounce the president's stance. Today, we see his maneuvers as if he wants to reach a peaceful solution in Palestine, but we have no trust in Biden or the American state, which is also the Palestinian position."

For his part, Abdel Ilah Benabdellah, coordinator of the Moroccan Coalition of Human Rights Organizations, spoke about "continuing the struggle to support the Palestinian people in the face of the genocidal war against them, killing women, children, and people with disabilities, and destroying all infrastructures without exception, including hospitals, educational institutions, churches, mosques, and UNRWA centers. This shows that this system is unrelated to humanity and must come to an end, and the peoples of the world reject it now."

He noted that "the movements witnessed around the world, even in the strongholds of this entity in the United States, demonstrate how the Zionist narrative has collapsed; in American universities, the American people and their youth are shouting: Freedom for Palestine."
