The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, announced that "Hezbollah has succeeded in occupying over a hundred thousand Israeli soldiers and officers on the northern front," noting that "the Lebanon front has prevented enemy forces from participating in Gaza, including elite forces, because there is fear among the enemy of the resistance entering the Galilee, which remains an option if the confrontation escalates." He stated that "the enemy should expect us on land, at sea, and in the air, and we will fight without restrictions, rules, or ceilings."
Nasrallah emphasized, during the memorial ceremony for the martyr Talib Abdullah "Abu Talib," that "the possibility of invading the Galilee remains valid and is a possibility in any war that may be imposed on Lebanon." He said, "The Israeli army rarely acknowledges its losses on the Lebanon front. Due to Israel's reluctance to acknowledge its losses, we film and document those losses." He added, "The video published yesterday is a small part of long hours above Haifa."
He revealed that "we have fought with some of our weapons so far and have obtained new weapons that will appear on the battlefield, and we have developed our weapons, using new arms in this battle, and we have a large number of drones because we manufacture them." Nasrallah observed that "even if we did not intend to go to war, the enemy is afraid and continues to reinforce its forces in the north, which affects the Gaza front."
He added: "There is no doubt that the loss of Abu Talib and his companions is great, but we consider them martyrs who have achieved their highest aspirations and left behind those who carry the same spirit, determination, and intellect. Therefore, the resistance's response to the assassination was significant to let the enemy know that this unit, whose members you killed, has grown more determined to resist."
Nasrallah threatened to strike Cyprus if it allowed Israel to use its airports to launch attacks on Lebanon, saying, "We have information that the enemy is conducting maneuvers in Cyprus, in Cypriot areas and airports, and we informed the authorities in Lebanon about this during the visit of the Cypriot president, who denied it even though it is a hundred percent true. Therefore, the Cypriot government should know that opening the airports and Cypriot bases for war against Lebanon means they are part of the war, and we will deal with them on that basis."
