The sense of anticipation continues within the halls of ministries and among the Egyptian public regarding the expected cabinet reshuffle, with everyone awaiting the names of the members of the new government. Egyptian sources revealed to "Al Arabiya.net" and "Al Hadath.net" that there are expectations to announce the new cabinet in the coming days, likely swearing in by the end of this week to coincide with the 11th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. The sources noted that there will be surprises in the names of the new ministers, as several individuals with significant national experience both internationally and locally will be selected.
Members of the government will take the oath of office before the president. The sources disclosed that the names of the new ministers will not be presented to the House of Representatives for approval; rather, once the cabinet formation is complete, the members will take the oath of office before President Sisi first, as it is a new government. Subsequently, the government will present its program to the House of Representatives within 20 days of its formation. The House will then form a special committee, headed by one of the council's deputies, to study the program and prepare a report on it within ten days.
The report will be presented to the council, which will issue a decision on whether the government will receive the confidence of the majority of its members within ten days following the report's presentation. In all cases, this process should not exceed 30 days from the date the government submits its program.
