# Lebanon: One Dead and 6 Injured in Airstrike on Deir Sryan

Israeli warplanes targeted the center of Deir Sryan, prompting ambulances to rush to the scene, where 7 individuals were injured as a result of the airstrike. The Public Health Emergency Operations Center issued a statement announcing that the Israeli attack on Deir Sryan resulted in the death of a 17-year-old boy and injuries to six civilians, five of whom were transferred to Raghib Harb Hospital, where their condition is stable, while one individual with moderate injuries was taken to the government hospital of Prime Minister Nabih Berri in Nabatieh. Hezbollah mourned the loss of Hassan Imad Karim "Yasser", born in 2007 from the town of Deir Sryan. Israeli aircraft also struck the towns of Kfarkela and Adaisseh with artillery and phosphorus shells. The warplanes violated the sound barrier over the city of Sidon around 4:24 PM today. Additionally, the warplanes broke the sound barrier twice over the villages of Rashaya and the Western and Central Bekaa. Meanwhile, Hezbollah's military media announced the targeting of a site at Hadb Yaron with artillery shells, achieving a direct hit. In another statement, they declared that they targeted buildings used by enemy soldiers in the Avivim settlement with rocket fire, also achieving a direct hit. In the same context, a sanitation worker found an old bomb at the entrance of Rashaya. After informing the security forces, members of the military engineering unit arrived at the site and detonated the bomb in the same location.
