Trump Promises Largest Deportation Campaign for Illegal Immigrants

Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the upcoming presidential elections will be the most important in the country's history, vowing that "if he wins, he will make radical changes to Joe Biden's policies." Speaking at a campaign rally in Michigan, his first appearance since the assassination attempt last Saturday, Trump stated, "The next election will be the most important in our country's history, and we cannot allow fraud in it," pointing out the "uncertainty regarding the identity of the Democratic Party's nominee."

Trump added, "I had easier options than running for president, but I am doing this for you. It has been a great honor for me to accept the Republican Party's nomination to run, and I am confident of winning the election, and we will remove the corrupt Joe Biden." He pledged to end open border policies because they "increase taxes on Americans" and claimed that "illegal immigrants are invading our country, and we will work to ensure border security after experiencing this invasion."

Trump stated that "the Biden administration facilitated the entrance of illegal immigrants to vote for them in the elections," saying: "I will eliminate Biden's policy on the first day of my administration, and we will start the largest deportation campaign for illegal immigrants in the history of our country, even larger than the campaign led by former President Dwight Eisenhower."

He remarked, "When I saw how our borders are being treated... we had the best and safest borders, the borders that saved my life. You know, I was pointing to an immigration border sign when I turned, and that thing (the bullet) went in that direction instead of this direction."

He indicated that "President (Chinese) Xi Jinping and (Russian President Vladimir) Putin are both smart and strong and love their country and work for it," asserting that the U.S. needs someone who can protect us; otherwise, "we have people with low intelligence, especially President Biden, whose IQ is around 70."

Trump added that the Chinese president is "a smart man who controls over a billion people with an iron fist and makes men like Biden look like children," noting that Xi "does not believe in the last elections and thinks I am deceiving him through Biden." He continued by saying, "The current administration is not addressing China as it should," and he intends to "impose tariffs on Chinese goods of up to 200 percent."

Trump explained: "They keep saying (I) am a threat to democracy. I say: How have I harmed democracy? Last week, I took a bullet for democracy. What have I done against democracy?" He added, "America's enemies will fear us... and the United States will once again have the respect it deserves... I will restore the American dream, and it will be bigger, better, and bolder than ever before."

Trump emphasized that he would do great things for the people of Michigan, and he would "save" the American auto industry "from extinction," criticizing the president of the United Auto Workers, Shawn Fain, as someone who "doesn't know what he's doing," and expressed his admiration for billionaire Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, stating, "He recently endorsed me that day; he is a great man."
