Judge Mansour Schedules Session for the Killers of Suleiman... Judicial Source: What is the Secret of the Number 7 in Kidnapping and Murder

Judge Mansour Schedules Session for the Killers of Suleiman... Judicial Source: What is the Secret of the Number 7 in Kidnapping and Murder

As if fate has written chaos, suffering, oppression, kidnapping, and murder for the Lebanese people, they wake up each day to news of kidnappings in broad daylight and murders occurring right before their eyes, according to "Al-Diyar." The situation seems to repeat itself with a kidnapping and murder message aimed at the same political group, notably since the kidnapping and murder operation bears a strong resemblance to that of engineer Ramzi Ayrouni, who was kidnapped in a similar manner and subsequently eliminated. A high-ranking judicial source who followed Ayrouni’s case before his retirement mentioned that Ayrouni was kidnapped on April 7, while Suleiman was kidnapped on May 7. He questions whether there is a secret behind the number 7, known only to certain individuals. The source continues to explain that chance played a significant role, as the victim Suleiman was on the phone during his kidnapping, informing a friend while listening to the entire operation, which was reported to the authorities, unlike the kidnapping and murder of engineer Ramzi Ayrouni.

The monitoring source indicates that the kidnapping and murder of both Ayrouni and Suleiman are similar, especially since the outcome was the same—both were eliminated as a message or messages were sent, especially considering that the number 7 is present in both cases. The judicial source states that the investigations into the case are confidential and the file is in trustworthy hands. The efforts of the chief investigating judge in Mount Lebanon, Judge Nicolas Mansour, are commendable, as every fifteen days there is a hearing for interrogation and confrontation between the detained suspects. He also issued an arrest warrant for the suspects Zakaria Dhafir Qassem and Firas Riad Mimo from Syria through judicial channels and according to proper procedures. The source notes that Judge Mansour is diligent in applying the law and will not rest until the truth is revealed to his satisfaction before issuing his indictment.

Should the suspects, namely Zakaria Qassem and Firas Mimo, be detained by the Syrian judiciary, they will be handed over to the Lebanese judicial authority; if they are in custody of Syrian security agencies, they will not be extradited to Lebanon. A hearing was expected to take place on the sixth of this month concerning the killers of Pascal Suleiman, the coordinator of the Lebanese Forces Party in Jbeil, where Bilal Mohammed Dalu was brought in while another detainee, unrelated to Suleiman’s murder, was also presented. This led to confusion within the investigation regarding this mistake that raises questions, prompting Judge Mansour to schedule a session for the tenth of next month, according to "Al-Diyar."
