Clashes and Arrests in the West Bank, Fighting in Tulkarm

Israeli army forces launched a campaign of incursions and searches in the West Bank in the early hours of Thursday morning. This included clashes in some areas and the arrest of several Palestinians. Armed confrontations took place in multiple locations in the city of Tulkarm, resulting in injuries among Palestinians. The Israeli army deployed additional military reinforcements, accompanied by "D9" bulldozers to Tulkarm city, besieging the camp and positioning snipers on the rooftops of buildings, coinciding with the outbreak of skirmishes and armed clashes. Medical sources reported that a young man was injured by live ammunition during the confrontations, while ambulances were prevented from entering Tulkarm camp to transfer the injured.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades – Tulkarm announced in a statement that its fighters targeted the occupation forces entering the camp with gunfire and explosive devices. Meanwhile, the Tulkarm Brigade of the Al-Qassam Brigades issued a brief statement indicating that they detonated a series of explosive devices targeting Israeli vehicles in the vicinity of Tulkarm camp.

Israeli forces also stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah and al-Bireh, amid heavy gunfire and the use of sound and gas bombs, leading to cases of suffocation. Clashes erupted with Palestinians who attempted to confront the incursion. The Red Crescent reported: "Our teams in Ramallah and al-Bireh are dealing with an injury to a 17-year-old boy due to shrapnel from live ammunition in the town of Kufr Aqab." Three Palestinians were injured by live bullets during confrontations with Israeli forces in Balata camp, east of Nablus.
