Today, Friday, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, stated that while U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's reaffirmation of Washington's commitment to NATO is important, it doesn't negate the need for European countries to be more robust.
Before a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, Kallas mentioned that Rubio "provided assurances that the United States will not make concessions that conflict with the interests of Ukraine and Europe or cross any red lines."
