England's Chef Halted by the U.S. Ahead of World Cup Match

England's national football team faced another bout of bad luck before their first World Cup match after the team's chef was barred from boarding a train due to carrying cooking knives.

The "Three Lions" have had a troublesome week, with players' boots and training gear stolen from a delivery truck transporting equipment from Florida to Kansas City.

On Sunday, British reports revealed that the chef was prevented from boarding a train from West Palm Beach to Orlando, ahead of a friendly against Costa Rica, which England won 3-0.

According to "The Sun," the chef inadvertently triggered a metal detector at the station and was informed that carrying knives on the train was prohibited, leaving him to travel without them.

Local reports confirmed that the England team overcame these off-field issues, reaching their official training headquarters in Kansas City late on Saturday and conducted an open training session for fans.

England's "Three Lions" will kick off their tournament run in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico against Croatia on Wednesday.
