The Tasnim International News Agency reported that the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran issued a statement early morning regarding the understanding reached to end the war between Iran and the United States.
The statement said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, following a series of tough and intensive negotiations lasting several months, and based on the decision of the Supreme National Security Council, has finalized the memorandum of understanding regarding the negotiations to end the war (Islamabad negotiations) between Iran and the USA, as of the evening of June 14."
It noted that "under the agreements reached, the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, will end immediately and permanently from tonight, and the naval blockade imposed on Iran will be lifted immediately and completely."
It was announced that "the official signing of this memorandum of understanding will take place on Friday, June 19."
