Trump Suggests Syria Handle Hezbollah, Praises Syrian President Amidst Middle East Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that he proposed to Israel that Syria should handle the Hezbollah issue, commending Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shaar for having "done a great job, managing to unite his country."

Trump viewed the "war in Lebanon as secondary," asserting the nuclear deal with Iran "can endure."
He emphasized that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should act more responsibly towards Lebanon, expressing dissatisfaction with Israel's handling of Lebanon and Hezbollah, and stressing that the matter should have been swiftly resolved.
Trump added that he informed Israel that "he does not favor" attacks on Beirut.
Regarding the agreement with Iran, he described it as "fair and good," noting that the U.S. would not invest any money within Iran.

He affirmed the Memorandum of Understanding's aim to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, warning that trying to do so would lead to "hell breaking loose."

He pointed out that without rescinding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action established by the Obama administration with Iran, the country might have already obtained a nuclear weapon.

Trump also disclosed previous unsuccessful attempts to change Iran's regime.
He said: "Working with Qatar on mediation to resolve the region's crisis has been a crucial and positive factor."
