President Aoun Discusses Infrastructure Developments with Public Works Minister

President Michel Aoun met with Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rassamni to discuss the progress of operations at land, air, and sea ports, including the rehabilitation of Rene Mouawad Airport in Qleiaat. The discussions also covered plans to modernize operations at Rafik Hariri International Airport in the framework of governance and efficient management.
Among the visitors to Baabda was Danish Ambassador Kristoffer Vivike, on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
President Aoun also met with the Commander of the UNIFIL in the south, General Diodato Abagnara, in the presence of Acting UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Imran Riza. The discussions focused on the situation in the south and the work of UNIFIL in light of challenges and obstacles faced during its operations in the area, and explored the post-UNIFIL phase in the south.
