The Presidency of the Republic of Lebanon announced via its "X" platform account: "The flag at Baabda Palace has been lowered to half-mast in mourning for the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The period of mourning will continue through Wednesday, as per the memorandum issued by Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam."
