U.S. Completes Latest Wave of Strikes on Iran: Key Targets Revealed

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced late Wednesday that the military has completed the latest round of strikes on Iran, executed under orders from President Donald Trump.

In a statement, CENTCOM detailed that U.S. forces targeted Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities.

Additionally, attacks were conducted on Bandar Abbas, home to Iran's largest port and critical naval and Revolutionary Guard installations at the Strait of Hormuz.

Prior to CENTCOM's statement, Iranian state media reported that American airstrikes had shaken Tehran.

On Wednesday, President Trump remarked on Iran, stating it will "be defeated very soon."

Trump added that Iran is eager to reach a settlement with the United States, with Washington yet to decide on taking such a step.

In response to journalists asking if Iran had a deadline before the U.S. starts targeting Iranian bridges, Trump noted he doesn't prefer setting deadlines. "They know very well, they know the story... they better act accordingly," he said.

The U.S. military announced a second wave of targeted strikes against Iran on Wednesday.

CENTCOM clarified that "at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time, U.S. forces launched operations within the second wave of strikes today against Iran."

According to the statement, the strikes aimed at Iranian military capabilities used to threaten ships freely navigating through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial international waterway for global trade.
