Trump Calls for Revocation of Broadcast Licenses from Networks Dismissive of Election Speech

On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump called for the revocation of broadcast licenses from networks that refused to air his prime-time speech alleging election fraud. Without substantiating his claims, he suggested these networks might be complicit in election manipulation attempts, as reported by Agence France-Presse.

Trump stated, 'They and others in the media are part of a scheme. Such fraudulent practices should lead to the revocation of their licenses. They use public airwaves worth billions of dollars without paying anything at all. They pay nothing,' specifically naming networks 'ABC' and 'NBC'.

Trump continues to allege that his 2020 election defeat was due to manipulation, even though over 60 lawsuits have produced no evidence, and neither recounts nor audits have altered the outcome.

On Friday, Trump announced his decision to immediately declassify 'crucial' intelligence information revealing shocking flaws in the U.S. election infrastructure. He accused China of carrying out what he described as the 'biggest election hacking operation' against the U.S.

Trump urged the Department of Justice, FBI, and CIA to promptly investigate alleged cover-ups of foreign interferences, emphasizing intelligence assessments that confirmed Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea's capabilities to infiltrate the U.S. electoral infrastructure.

Both Russia and China have denied the American accusations. The Kremlin has insisted that Russia has never interfered in U.S. elections, while China dismissed the U.S. accusations as 'fabricated'.
