The Kuwaiti military announced late Sunday night that its air defenses are actively engaging to intercept Iranian drone attacks.
The General Staff of the Army stated on Platform X that "Kuwaiti air defenses are currently repelling hostile drone attacks following the unjust Iranian aggression," urging "everyone to adhere to safety and security instructions."
Simultaneously, Bahrain's Ministry of Interior alerted residents by sounding alarms from Sunday night to Monday morning in response to aerial threats.
The ministry's statement read, "The alarm siren has been activated," and added, "We urge citizens and residents to remain calm and proceed to the nearest safe location, following news updates through official channels."
This development comes as Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced on Monday that it targeted American military planes at Jordan's Aqaba airport, causing damage, according to Iranian state media.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard also declared on Monday that it launched an attack on a U.S. base in Syria's al-Tanf region.
According to IRNA on Telegram, the Revolutionary Guard conducted a "surprise attack on the enemy's special operations command center in the al-Tanf region of Syria" in retaliation for a strike on a military barracks in Bamour, located in Iranshahr, southeastern Iran.
Previously, the Revolutionary Guard claimed on Friday to have attacked the al-Tanf base, which the U.S. military announced its withdrawal from last February, handing it over to the Syrian army. However, a Syrian military source told the French Press Agency that the base situated at the Iraq-Jordan-Syria border triangle had not been shelled.
