Moscow's mayor announced on Monday that more than 400 drones were launched towards the Russian capital overnight, with most being intercepted.
Sergey Sobyanin posted on the 'Max' platform stating that from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, over 400 enemy drones targeted the Moscow area.
Destruction of 85 Drones
He further mentioned: "Most were neutralized by air defense forces at considerable distances from the city, while 85 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow."
In recent months, Kyiv has intensified its strikes on Russian soil, labeling them as a response to over four years of shelling on their territory.
The Russian news agency 'TASS' reported on Monday that six people were hospitalized following an explosion in the Moscow region.
The agency cited a report from Domodedovo Hospital south of Moscow, noting that those injured varied in severity and included three foreign nationals.
It remains unclear if the injuries were related to the drone attacks.
