Iranian President Masoud Bizshkian has firmly announced his intention to remain in office, denying any plans to resign.
In an upcoming television interview to be broadcast by the Iranian "Radio and Television Organization," Bizshkian declared, "If I ever decide to resign, I will officially announce my resignation."
Bizshkian's response came amidst claims by Iranian cleric Mohammad Bagher Kharazi, suggesting that Bizshkian had resigned or threatened to resign from his position 28 times.
Kharazi further mentioned that the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, had formally and publicly warned that if Bizshkian resigned again, his resignation would be accepted.
