The Israeli military announced today, Thursday, that two soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon, with four others seriously injured in the same incident.
The military clarified that an officer and a reservist soldier lost their lives following an explosive device blast in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army spokesperson identified the deceased as Harel Bernstein and Tamir Wakenin, who were serving in the 2855th Battalion of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade.
The army added that the soldiers were killed in the explosion in the town of Majdal Zoun, without disclosing further details regarding the incident.
