Two individuals have lost their lives, and 12 others sustained injuries following a gas cylinder explosion that ignited a fire in a restaurant and caused an elevator to collapse in a mall located in the Tagamoa area of Egypt.
According to Egyptian media reports, the bodies of the deceased and the injured were transferred to the hospital, while the relevant public prosecution commenced an investigation into the incident's circumstances.
Security forces established a safety perimeter around the site of the incident, and the mall was evacuated as a precaution. Authorities continue to inspect the circumstances of the event and are taking necessary legal actions.
