Lebanese MP Ghazi Sirhan, taking to his 'X' platform account, voiced his sharp criticism of the Lebanese state's handling of the recent escalations in the south concerning Israeli and Lebanese positions.
Sirhan declared, 'Last night: Israel's criminality and brutality in the south continue to escalate with bombardment, explosions, and killings, culminating in a massacre that wiped out an entire civilian family in a home in the town of Ansar, with at least seven martyrs.'
He added, 'In the morning, Netanyahu's Finance Minister Smotrich stated that Israel now possesses expanded areas in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza, with no intention of ever withdrawing from them.'
Sirhan also noted, 'In the afternoon: Lebanese state officials condemned the heinous crime committed by Israel in violation of the framework agreement, urging the United States to curb Israel's actions to adhere to its commitments.'
Criticizing these developments, Sirhan launched a scathing attack on the Lebanese government's performance, stating, 'Poor Lebanese state today; it's either stupid or playing dumb, or it's lying to itself and the people, or it's scared of losing the ruling seats and surrendering, and it's likely all of these combined.'
