Wiam Wahhab, the head of the Arab Unification Party, launched a strong attack on the Syrian authorities following recent security measures targeting members of the late Syrian General Rustom Ghazaleh's family. This coincides with new Israeli incursions in the Daraa countryside.
Wahhab wrote on the platform 'X': 'The Syrian state decided to liberate Daraa villages from Israel but targeted the wrong address, arresting Rustom Ghazaleh’s elderly wife, Um Abdo, and his daughters, while looting their home. A state truly powerful at stealing gold, money, and houses. You people have no honor or morals; we thought this about you only in Sweida.'
