Temperatures are expected to drop in mountainous and inland regions, with scattered light rain, especially in the northern highlands, starting from the afternoon.

A typical, humid summer climate prevails over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures within seasonal norms until Saturday. Then, a moderately effective atmospheric depression, centered northwest of Turkey, gradually approaches, bringing moderate air masses which will lower temperatures below their seasonal averages, accompanied by intermittent heavy rain starting Saturday evening. This is expected to bring thunderstorms, especially in northern areas, persisting until Sunday evening when the weather gradually stabilizes.
The average temperatures for August: Tripoli between 24 and 32°C, Beirut between 25 and 33°C, Zahle between 18 and 35°C.

Partially cloudy with no significant change in temperatures and dense fog on the highlands, affecting visibility at times. Light drizzle is expected in the northern highlands starting at noon.

Saturday:
Partially cloudy with dense fog on high altitudes and a further drop in temperatures below seasonal averages in mountainous and inland areas. It will gradually become cloudy, with scattered showers, sometimes heavy from the afternoon, particularly in northern areas, along with thunderstorms and active winds that will cause sea waves to rise. Partially cloudy with further temperature drop and fog on high altitudes. Scattered showers, sometimes heavy, are expected particularly in southern areas during the morning. Winds may occasionally pick up, causing sea waves to rise. Rain showers will diminish starting from the afternoon as the weather stabilizes.
-Temperatures along the coast range from 23 to 32 degrees, in the mountains from 17 to 29 degrees, and inland from 19 to 34 degrees.
-Surface Winds: Southwesterly, speeds ranging between 10 and 30 km/h.
