Israeli warplanes launched pre-dawn airstrikes around 6 a.m., in two waves, targeting Ali al-Taher woodland on the eastern outskirts of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa. The jets dropped concussion bombs, creating a massive explosion that echoed throughout the region, sending up thick plumes of smoke.
Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of the villages of Mifddun and Eastern Zouhtar in the morning hours.
The Israeli forces conducted a wide-scale sweeping operation towards the outskirts of Haris, in the direction of Hadatha, targeting homes and their inhabitants.
Two Israeli Merkava tanks, accompanied by several military vehicles, advanced into the eastern perimeter of Kfar Shuba, specifically in the Shamis area. The Israeli troops raised their flag in the region. This incursion coincided with intensified sweeping operations using machine guns, aimed at the area’s surroundings, amid ongoing security tensions along the border line.
Earlier, Israeli fighter jets continued their attacks at dawn on the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district, hitting several buildings. Explosions were heard in Tyre and surrounding villages, shattering windows due to the concussion bombs used by the Israeli military.
Late at night, Israeli warplanes also launched strikes on the area between the villages of Eastern Zouhtar and Mifddun.
