The Minister of Information, Paul Mrad, announced that the government has decided to commence daily budget sessions starting Tuesday, with a specific focus on the tenured employment file slated for discussion in Thursday's session.
During his reading of Cabinet decisions, Mrad stated, "The Cabinet has reaffirmed its previous decision, made on August 13, 2026, concerning measures to protect health, environmental safety, and aviation security. The Cabinet has asked the relevant ministries and departments to take necessary actions against farms and slaughterhouses located within the airport's vicinity that operate without legal permits or hold permits but exceed their authorized limits and do not adhere to enforced standards and regulations."
He continued, "As for those establishments possessing permits, a ministerial committee has been formed comprising ministers of Interior and Municipalities, Agriculture, Industry, Environment, Health, and Public Works. This committee's task is to study the report submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the status of these licensed farms and slaughterhouses, ensuring that they meet all enforced procedures and standards, and to submit necessary recommendations within fifteen days. This topic occupied a significant part of the discussions."
