Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi met on Friday with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Sharm El-Sheikh. President Sisi confirmed via his official Facebook account, "I was pleased today to meet my brother Prince Mohammed bin Salman... Our meeting focused on ways to develop the mutual relations between our two countries." The Egyptian President added, "We also agreed on our perspectives regarding regional and international issues of common concern," affirming his "constant pride in the distinguished relations that bind Egypt and Saudi Arabia at both official and popular levels." The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency shared a photo of the meeting on Facebook, commenting, "The meeting of brothers today in Sharm El-Sheikh between President Abdel Fattah Sisi and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
