Qatar Emir Discusses Regional and International Developments with German Foreign Minister

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received Mr. Heiko Maas, the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, and his accompanying delegation at his office in the Amiri Diwan, during his visit to the country. The meeting addressed key regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Afghanistan. The German Foreign Minister expressed his country's gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Emir for Qatar’s role and efforts in Afghanistan in supporting the peace process and evacuating civilians. Additionally, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance cooperation in various areas between the two countries.
