Title: Qatar Embassy: Air Force Plane Arrives in Beirut with 70 Tons of Food Aid for the Lebanese Army

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beirut announced that "a plane from the Qatari Air Force, loaded with 70 tons of food supplies, arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut today. This shipment represents the third batch of food aid provided by the State of Qatar to the army in the brotherly Lebanese Republic." The plane was greeted by Qatar's Chargé d'Affaires Ali Al-Matawa, Second Secretary Ahmed Al-Obaidli, and Brigadier General Antoine Halabi representing the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun. Last July, the State of Qatar announced "supporting the Lebanese army with 70 tons of food supplies monthly for one year, as part of Qatar's efforts and its firm commitment to support the Lebanese Republic and stand by the dear Lebanese people, in addition to its strong belief in the importance and necessity of activating joint Arab action."
