Agreement on Transport Services Between Royal Air Maroc and El Al Israel Airlines

Royal Air Maroc and Israeli airline El Al have signed a cooperation protocol to develop relations between the two companies, aiming to provide transport services between the countries. The agreement was signed by Hamid Ado, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, and Avigal Sorek, CEO of El Al, on the sidelines of the 77th IATA Annual General Meeting held recently in Boston, with the attendance of representatives from global airlines.

The agreement comes as both Royal Air Maroc and El Al plan to provide air transport services between the two countries, centered around Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca and Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. It coincides with Royal Air Maroc's near launch of a direct flight route between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.

The signing of this cooperation protocol is expected to pave the way for the possibility of establishing a code-sharing partnership between the Moroccan company and El Al on direct flights linking the two countries, as well as on their respective air networks.
