Two members of the Syrian regime forces were killed, succumbing to their injuries sustained on Thursday when an unknown armed group opened fire on the civilian vehicle they were in, on the road from Rakhm to Western Mleiha in the Daraa countryside. The Syrian Observatory reported that on Thursday, a civilian also died from his injuries after his car was targeted by unknown assailants while he was transporting two members of the regime forces. Both members were seriously injured and were taken to nearby hospitals.
This incident follows the recent agreements reached between regime forces and local dignitaries and residents of Daraa Province regarding the surrender of weapons.
Since the start of the latest agreements in Daraa Province, the total number of those killed by various means has risen to 33, including 18 civilians, among them a child and some who were former fighters that had become civilians after previous settlement operations, as well as 13 members of the regime forces and the Fifth Corps backed by Russia, along with collaborators from the regime's security agencies.
