Victory of Jordan over Saudi Arabia in the Arab Cup

The Jordanian national football team won their opening match in the Arab Cup held in Qatar against the Saudi team with a score of one goal to nil. The goal for the Jordanians was scored by player Mahmoud Mardhi in the 62nd minute. The match also saw two red cards, one for each team. With this victory, the Jordanian team secured second place in Group C with 3 points, tied on points with the Moroccan team, which leads on goal difference after defeating Palestine 4-0.
